Dark Horse Comics have released several editions in a line of Zelda hardcovers, including Hyrule Historia and Art & Artifacts. They recently announced the upcoming Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia will come out in April 2018.
Today, the publisher revealed that there will be a deluxe edition of that encyclopedia, and it will apparently look like a giant golden Legend of Zelda NES cartridge.
In addition to looking completely badass, it sounds like this edition will come in some pretty premium packaging. Says Dark Horse:
The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia Deluxe Edition honors the game that started it all by recreating the original gold cartridge as faithfully as possible. The book comes with a black polypropylene sleeve, lined with velvet flocking, and a scale instruction booklet with fun, theme-appropriate material inside.

The cover is a gold foil paper with gloss lamination and a spot gritty varnish. The details are embossed and debossed. It has gold gilding on the top and foredge, with black gilding on the bottom. This book looks and feels so much like the original cartridge you might find yourself blowing into the bottom before you open it!
Considering the exceptional quality of all the Zelda books Dark Horse has put out thus far, as well as their other gaming hardcovers such as the World of Warcraft Chronicle series, this one is shaping up to be a must-have.
