IDW Publishing has revealed its full plans for San Diego Comic-Con 2026, and the publisher is going all out with convention-exclusive comics, early releases, collectible merchandise, creator signings, and four major panels highlighting its biggest franchises.
Visitors can find IDW at booth #2729, which debuts a brand-new booth design while celebrating a lineup that spans Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Godzilla, Sonic the Hedgehog, Star Trek, Hello Kitty, Event Horizon, and much more.
Convention-exclusive comics and collectibles
Among the biggest convention exclusives are new variant covers for several upcoming releases, including:
- Godzilla vs. America: San Diego by Godtail
- The Rocketeer: Infiltrator! #1 by Nathan Szerdy
- Sonic x Godzilla #1 by Natalie Haines
- Star Trek: Red Shirts – Ghost of the 21st Century #1 by Tristan Jones and Charlie Kirchoff
- The Horror of Godzilla #1 by Andrew K. Currey
- TMNT: The Last Ronin – Training Day by Attack Pete
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin #1 reprint variant by Boss Logic
- A special TMNT #300 lithograph by Chuck U
Fans attending the show will also get early access to Hello Kitty and Friends: Hello World #1 by Mirka Andolfo and the hardcover edition of Event Horizon: Dark Descent.
IDW is also offering exclusive apparel featuring Godzilla, Beneath the Trees Where Nobody Sees, The Last Ronin, and Operation: Iron Coffin, alongside TMNT lithographs by Urban Aztec.

Four days of panels
IDW’s programming begins Thursday with Godzilla Smashes San Diego and the Comic Industry, where Toho’s Aaron Gregory joins creators Tristan Jones, Tim Seeley, Nick Marino, Ethan S. Parker, Griffin Sheridan, and Jake Williams to discuss the publisher’s future plans for the King of the Monsters.
Friday’s spotlight belongs to the Turtles with TMNT: Shellebrating 300 Issues of Turtle Power & Last Ronin. Gene Luen Yang, Tom Waltz, Andrew Joustra, Jake Thomas, Sarah Myer, and Paramount Games’ Shawn Kittelsen will reveal what’s next for the comics while sharing new details about The Last Ronin video game.
Saturday turns toward horror with The Masters of Comic Book Horror, featuring Patrick Horvath, Christian Ward, Hannah Rose May, Stephanie Williams, Collin Kelly, and Jackson Lanzing discussing both established horror franchises and upcoming original projects.
Sunday closes out the convention with Star Trek: 60th Anniversary Celebration, where Heather Antos and IDW’s Star Trek creators will preview the next era of the publisher’s growing line of Star Trek comics.
Creator signings and Eisner recognition
Beyond its convention exclusives, IDW will host creator signings throughout the weekend and celebrate multiple 2026 Eisner Award nominations, including:
