Ever wondered what the X-Men would’ve looked like in a Game of Thrones time setting? Wonder no more.

2003’s limited series Marvel 1602, wherein Marvel superheroes exist in the Elizabethan era, was a lot of fun — so why not a mix of Game of Thrones and X-Men while we’re at it? Artist Nate Hallinan brings that very concept to life, featuring feudal-era X-Men favorites like Professor X, Wolverine, Cyclops (with an interesting, primitive take on the ruby-quartz visor), Storm and more:
