Deadpool is already in trouble after Walt Disney’s purchase of Fox, according to Ryan Reynolds

It’s only been a few hours since the Disney/Fox blockbuster deal and Deadpool is already in trouble with his new bosses.

It’s only been a few hours since the Walt Disney Company announced it will acquire Fox, Inc. for $52.4 billion in stock and it looks like one of Fox’s most well-known entertainment properties, namely Deadpool, the most lucrative R-rated movie ever, is already in hot water after the blockbuster deal.

Apparently you can’t actually blow the Matterhorn.

Oh, Ryan Reynolds, you cad, you. You got us. Although something tells us Disney would need a little more security than that to apprehend the Regeneratin’ Degenerate.

All jokes aside, however, the Merc with a Mouth’s move to the Marvel Cinematic Universe is a captivating one; on the one hand, Deadpool is a character who can easily make the transition due to his meta-awareness and fourth-wall-breaking expertise. On the other hand, will Disney execs look to censor the foul-mouthed, vulgarity and off-beat R-rated antics that the character is known for?

Keep up with all the latest Deadpool 2 news.
