Mister Miracle and Big Barda closed out 2016 as probably the most genuine romantic comic book relationship in some time. They have their daily rituals and average arguments just like any loving relationship. Aside from being New Gods and dealing with that drama, they lived a simple life anyone can relate to. Well, that simple life is going to get more complicated: Big Barda and Mister Miracle are having a baby!
Tom King and Mitch Gerads spend the entirety of Mister Miracle #6 focusing on dialogue between Big Barda and Mister Miracle about renovating their house. That all leads to the revelation that a change is required to fit one more New God under their roof. Thankfully the baby has loving parents to take care of them.
Now, if Darkseid can just lay off murdering Mister Miracle, we can expect a happy ending for this soon to be larger family.
