Batwoman gets a new emblem and direction in Detective Comics #974

Batwoman may never be the same.

SPOILERS ahead. You’ve been warned.

If you’ve been reading the latest Detective Comics series by James Tynion IV you know he’s been showing us scenes of future Gotham. It has become a dark place (even more so) and heroes of today become villains. In that future, Batwoman is a lot different. Usually, with these elseworld tales you don’t see any connection between the now and future, but that changes today in Detective Comics #974. In the last issue, Batwoman killed Clayface. This has put her at odds with Batman and his team.
