The Force is with you Chicago.

Whether you’re a member of the Resistance or serving the First Order, you’re going to want to get out your calendars for this announcement-the next Star Wars Celebration has been made official for Chicago 2019.

The announcement comes via the Star Wars show, featured on the official Star Wars twitter account.

Star Wars Celebration will take place at McCormick Place on April 11-15, 2019, with tickets going on sale June 5 at noon CST at www.starwarscelebration.com. Packages for multi-day, single day and VIP passes will be available.

The first Star Wars Celebration was held in Denver Colorado in 1999 to celebrate the release of Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. The fan focused event celebrates the franchise and regularly includes members of the Star Wars film’s casts and crew, autograph signings and sneak peeks at upcoming projects and events. Since the first celebration in 1999 the event has grown to include 12 more celebrations (Chicago being the 13th) across 10 cities in 3 different continents.

This will be the 20th anniversary of Star Wars celebration so it will undoubtedly include special surprises. Tickets go fast folks. If you want them don’t wait, be ready to get yours Friday June 5 at noon CST via www.starwarscelebration.com. May the Force be with you in your purchasing attempts.
