Leaked image or fan art? New ‘Captain Marvel’ photo surfaces

Is this a real screenshot from the film or simply a fan created image?

Perusing Reddit can be fun for the comments and news, but sometimes an image pops up that seems unreal. Just such an image popped up this morning in r/Marvel which featured Captain Marvel in front of a wall of TVs, all playing classic ’90s shows. It’s an incredible image as it instantly hits you with the nostalgia vibes as well as give us a great look of Brie Larsen’s costume. But the thing is, is it real?

The image is evocotive of the official screenshot from Wonder Woman 1984 which instantly puts it into question. Would Marvel Studios really replicate an image from Warner Brothers’ upcoming sequel?

We’re still not sure whether this screenshot is real or not but, let’s be honest, does it really matter? We can’t wait for Captain Marvel to hit screens in America on March 8, 2019.
