I just realized I’m not playing Spider-Man.

A post shared by Jake Gyllenhaal (@jakegyllenhaal) on

Though Gyllenhaal joined the cast this summer, it has never been officially confirmed what his role will be. Rumors have suggested that Gyllenhaal would be playing the classic Spider-Man villain and it looks as if they  have been officially confirmed with Gyllenhaal’s first post. He may not be playing Spider-Man, but Gyllenhaal is an accomplished actor who has been nominated for many awards and should do great.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 5, 2019.
