Black Mirror has consistently been one of Netflix’s strongest shows. The often humorous and always dark science fiction anthology series looks at how technology affects human society. Black Mirror has featured man memorable episodes, including the series premiere which centered around a mysterious plot to blackmail the British Prime Minister into having sex with a pig.
Arguably, the most famous episode of Black Mirror was the season four premiere, “USS Callister”. A parody of Star Trek, the episode won numerous Emmy Awards.
For months it has been rumoured that the fifth season of Black Mirror would premiere in December 2018. Those rumors then changed to a full length Black Mirror movie called Bandersnatch. Even more spectacular was the speculation the movie would an interactive affair.
The trailer for Black Mirror: Bandersnatch was released today and seems to confirm it will have some choose your own adventure elements.
Black Mirror: Bandersnatch debuts on Netflix on Friday, December 28.
