Brian Michael Bendis reveals that an Amythest comic is on way

A “major creator” has already signed on.

Superman writer Brian Bendis has revealed on Twitter that an Amythest comic is on the way. He said a “major creator already signed on,” who “was my first and only pick for the project and she said YES!”

He also said “that announcement is for another day'” In her original 1980s series, Amythest: Princess of Gemworld, teenager Amy Winston/Amythest finds out she’s the orphaned princess of Gemworld. She also discovers a nefarious ruler named Dark Opal was intent on destroying her, so she ventures to Gemworld to overthrow him.
