3 X-Men get X-Treme makeovers in ‘Uncanny X-Men’ #21

Matthew Rosenberg is changing the X-Men in more ways than one.

Spoilers ahead. You’ve been warned.

Matthew Rosenberg’s Uncanny X-Men run has been a bloodbath so far, with many beloved mutants falling in the line of duty. Well, in today’s Uncanny X-Men #21, I’m happy to report no one dies, but Rosenberg seems hell-bent on ensuring no one makes it out of this comic unscathed. Fashion included.

That’s right, this issue’s all about mutant makeovers and it doesn’t even feature the Siege Perilous!

First, we’ve got Magik transforming into her demonic Darkchylde form:

Then, Darkchylde pulls out Juggernaut’s Crimson Gem of Cyttorak. Better start hitting the gym, Cain!

Finally, the always fashionable Emma Frost gets a new hairdo… looks like they were sloppy with the scissors!

For more context around all these character changes, I highly recommend you check out Uncanny X-Men #21 for the full story!
