AiPT! Comics Podcast Episode 29: SDCC 2019 preview, Spidey rogues ranked, & Joker revealed

The #1 comics podcast talking news, reviews, and more.

Welcome back to the official AiPT! Comics podcast where your hosts Forrest Hollingsworth and David Brooke discuss their favorite comics of last week, talk news, and look ahead to comics out next week. This week we have a special Spider-Month segment ranking Spidey villains, and Dave highlights the best panels at San Diego Comic-Con and goes over some of the things he’ll be covering.

This week in the news we talk about new Ninja Turtle Jennika appearing in IDW comics, what it means that Marvel announced Fantastic Four: Grand Design, discuss the connection between Venom, Luke Cage, and others tied to Weapon Plus, how Joker is getting two new series in October with John Carpenter, Anthony Burch, Philip Tan and Marc Deering working on one, and Jeff Lemire and Andrea Sorrentino’s Joker: Killer. Plus, we dissect what it means that Comic-Con International has extended its deal with San Diego for 3 more years.
