Welcome back to the official AiPT! Comics podcast where your hosts Forrest Hollingsworth and David Brooke discuss their favorite comics of last week, news, their most anticipated books out next week.

This week we have the very special guest Dennis “Hopeless” Hallum join us for an interview in celebration of Spider-Month! Plus we talk his upcoming Gamerverse series Spider-Man: Velocity, as well as his Image Comics series Sea of Stars which he is co-writing with Jason Aaron. We also play Superfight with Hallum and must determine who would be better at a lumberjack competition: Spider-Man or Martian Manhunter?

As always we cover the latest news too and this week we recap SDCC (Dave was there reporting), talk about all the Dawn of X books, recount the Eisner winners, discuss Tom King and Mitch Gerads 2020 book Strange Adventures, talk over Robert Kirkman’s statement on a Negan spin-off, and discuss Damien Lindelof’s, “f--k you” statement in regards to Alan Moore’s Watchmen.
