The sword which Lich Queen Mei wields in these photos is Frostmourne, the legendary, two-handed, rune-inscribed longsword which belonged to Arthas, the Lich King.

I never REALLY talked about this past year (Its officially been a year since I cosplayed Classic Mei💙). Let me just say one thing; I never knew dedicating yourself to a character could bring so many friends and happiness. Thank you, Mei (and the few others I cosplayed). Several of you asked me for the concept art I used for my Lich Queen Mei cosplay! Here she is. ❤️Artwork by @vanharmontt . He’s on Twitter and DA too. (And I’m fairly sure he takes commissions occasionally💙) – A little thing to note: I made a color pallet change because the fabric colors were easier to find, and just a few other minor changes simply because I wanted to add my own touch- not because I necessarily preferred it that way. I think his version is 100% INCREDIBLE. I may just make it perfectly accurate to the art one day. – – [Also hi, so I’ve developed an ear infection and can hardly lift my head.
