First Look: LEGO Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer with new 4,700 piece Imperial Star Destroyer with Tantive IV starship

New 4,800 piece Imperial Star Destroyer with Tantive IV starship coming this October.

Buckle up kiddos as LEGO revealed today a brand new giant Star Wars set is on the way in the form of the Imperial Star Destroyer. It’s not quite as large as the 7,541 piece Millenium Falcon, but it’s up there. Running 4,784 pieces the set will cost you $699.99 and will be available October 1st. Check out the images below to see it for yourself.

The ship has all the authentic details of the starship as it appeared in Star Wars: A New Hope which includes a  tilting radar dish, swiveling guns, and last but certainly not least huge engine exhausts, intricate surface detailing and of course a buildable scale version of the Rebels’ Tantive IV starship to chase down! You can even attach the damn thing to relive the opening scene of the movie.

The set also comes with 2 Imperial minifigures and a display stand.
