If you’ve been reading Donny Cates and Mark Bagley’s “Venom Island,” you know Eddie Brock is in a lot of trouble. He has transported himself to the island he once occupied years ago, hiding from the outside world. Unfortunately for him, his “other” Symbiote is no longer something he can use to fight. And fight he must, as the Carnage Symbiote wants to kill him.

In Venom #22, we learn Eddie has weapons stored on the island that he uses to fight off animals the Carnage Symbiote has possessed to attack Eddie. Unfortunately for him, he’s trapped by the Symbiote regardless and in a final showdown Eddie needs a hand or he’s finished.
It appears that it’s going to be lights out for our dear old Eddie Brock.
What you may not realize is Venom’s Symbiote is being held captive inside the Carnage Symbiote. Eddie can’t hurt the Symbiote right now for fear of hurting his other. So what does he do to get away?
Oh no, that’s going to leave a mark! I guess once Eddie Brock can get his Symbiote back he’ll be using a Symbiote hand from now on like how Flash Thompson used the Symbiote to grow legs.
This is only a fraction of the story however and you need to read issue #22 for more Eddie action and a key scene with his son Dylan!
