Newsarama is reporting Diamond Comic Distributors has provided retailers a tentative list of titles planned to ship for a Wednesday, May 20th, this after news came Diamond was planning on returning to shipping comics mid to late-May. The latest news continues to show promise new comic books may be a reality in less than a month’s time after going without new comics for four weeks.
This week, Marvel Comics and most other publishers continued to not ship new titles which would put us at 5 weeks of no new comics, but DC Comics did, in fact, release 3 new comics in Daphne Byrne #4, The Dreaming #20, and Batman Giant #4 via their other distribution methods. The new May 20th titles did not include DC Comics, but this list is tentative and will likely update throughout the week. Retailer Ryan Higgins of Sunnyvale, California’s Comics Conspiracy seems to have confirmed the news that new comics will be released May 20th in the tweet below.
