Celebrate James Tynion IV and Michael Dialynas’ ‘Wynd’ #1 as it gets a second printing

New fantasy series Wynd gets a first issue second printing and second printing cover.

BOOM! Studios has revealed Wynd #1 is getting a second printing. The new fantasy series (which was once planned as an OGN) is the newest release from BOOM! Studios’ imprint of new original series which joins Once & Future by Kieron Gillen and Dan Mora; Something is Killing the Children by James Tynion IV and Werther Dell’Edera; Faithless by Brian Azzarello and Maria Llovet; Folklords by Matt Kindt and Matt Smith; The Red Mother by Jeremy Haun and Danny Luckert; King of Nowhere by W. Maxwell Prince and Tyler Jenkins; and Alienated by Simon Spurrier and Chris Wildgoose.

LOS ANGELES, CA (June 25, 2020) – BOOM! Studios announced today that WYND #1, the premiere issue of the surprise original series from award-winning superstars James Tynion IV (Something is Killing the Children, Batman) and artist Michael Dialynas (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), with letterer Aditya Bidikar (Isola), has sold out at the distributor level! In response to the overwhelming support from retailers and fans, BOOM! Studios has announced WYND #1 SECOND PRINTING, available in July 2020 and featuring cover art by superstar artist Jorge Corona (Middlewest).

WYND introduces readers to a world where magical heritage is punishable by death, so a young boy named Wynd must keep his true identity – and pointy ears – a secret from everyone in Pipetown, even if it means he’ll never have the normal life he wants. But when his secret is threatened, Wynd is forced to leave his home behind to embark on a dangerous quest that will put him at the heart of a royal conspiracy beyond his imagination.
