Press Release

Since the pandemic, many are wondering when once solicited comics would be coming out with no release dates set for big titles like Children of the Atom and Black Widow. Today, Marvel has revealed Black Widow #1 is set to release in comic shops and digitally in September. Black Widow #1 is written by Kelly Thompson with art by Elena Casagrande and colors by Jordie Bellaire.

The bold new vision for the character, as writer Thompson put it with a first arc that, “has some of the stuff you would expect in a Black Widow book, but I think twisted in a new way that’s interesting – and where she ends up at the end of this highly personal and life changing story is ALSO interesting!”
