Adventures in Movies! Looks at… ‘The Prey’

Another take on ‘The Most Dangerous Game’.

The gang from Adventures in Movies! watches a lot of films. Every once in a while they see one they want to talk a little more about. Welcome to Adventures in Movies! Looks at…

Danny, Blake, and Nathaniel look at the first straight up action movie on the show. What better way to start than an adaptation of a classic short story? ‘The Most Dangerous Game’ has been adapted many times to varying degrees of success. The Prey is the most recent take on the story. The boys ponder how little action can an action movie have, gun fu vs hand to hand combat, and generic villains. The Prey also dispenses with one of the key themes of the source material. Does it work well? And what was up with that ending?
