Adventures in Movies! Looks at… ‘Getting to Know You’ (2020)

How far can sticking to a formula take you?

The gang from Adventures in Movies! watches a lot of films. Every once in a while they see one they want to talk a little more about. Welcome to Adventures in Movies! Looks at…

It has been a while since Danny, Blake, and Nathaniel have looked at a romantic comedy. This week, the three look at a rom com that steadfastly follows the tried and true formula of the genre. Obviously, this helps meet all the audience expectations, but what does it mean for the movie’s quality? The three talk about the importance of charming leads, knowing when to end things, and if a strong supporting cast can make any appreciable difference.

Getting to Know You will be available on digital November 24.
