LOS ANGELES, CA (September 3, 2020) – BOOM! Studios announced today that WYND, the original series from award-winning superstars James Tynion IV (Something is Killing the Children, Batman) and artist Michael Dialynas (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), with letterer Aditya Bidikar (Isola), has sold out of the second printing of issue #1 at the distributor level!

In response to the overwhelming support from retailers and fans, BOOM! Studios has announced WYND #1 THIRD PRINTING, available on September 30, 2020 and featuring cover art by Dialynas.

WYND introduces readers to a world where magical heritage is punishable by death, so a young boy named Wynd must keep his true identity – and pointy ears – a secret from everyone in Pipetown, even if it means he’ll never have the normal life he wants. But when his secret is threatened, Wynd is forced to leave his home behind to embark on a dangerous quest that will put him at the heart of a royal conspiracy beyond his imagination.

“The magic and excitement of WYND continues to charm fans of James, Michael and Aditya’s fantastic work, leading to sold out printings of every issue of the series thus far,” said Filip Sablik, President, Publishing & Sales, BOOM! Studios. “Thanks to the phenomenal support of retailers and to keep up with the high demand from fans, WYND will release a new printing of the first issue in September so new readers can continue to jump into this hot new series.”

WYND is the latest release from BOOM! Studios’ eponymous imprint, home to critically acclaimed original series, including Once & Future by Kieron Gillen and Dan Mora; Something is Killing the Children by James Tynion IV and Werther Dell’Edera; Faithless by Brian Azzarello and Maria Llovet; The Red Mother by Jeremy Haun and Danny Luckert; Alienated by Simon Spurrier and Chris Wildgoose; King of Nowhere by W. Maxwell Prince and Tyler Jenkins; Wynd by James Tynion IV and Michael Dialynas; Seven Secrets by Tom Taylor and Daniele Di Nicuolo; and We Only Find Them When They’re Dead by Al Ewing and Simone Di Meo.
