Marvel launches ‘M.O.D.O.K.: Head Games’ teaser

‘M.O.D.O.K.: Head Games’ teaser reveals details on the new series by Jordan Blum and Patton Oswalt.

Ahead of its December 2nd release, Marvel Comics has launched a M.O.D.O.K.: Head Games teaser featuring Patton Oswalt and Jordan Blum talking about the upcoming series. The writers discuss how the project came to be after developing the M.O.D.O.K. show for HULU, what the series will be about, and there are a few tidbits on the show too.

“We did the M.O.D.O.K. show for Hulu and Jordan and the writers created such an amazing kind of world around M.O.D.O.K. that has never been seen in the comics,” Oswalt explained to Marvel Host Ryan Penagos. “We had so much creativity to burn that Jordan just said we should fill this in in a four-issue comic series as a background. I always love that, to be able to go even deeper into that world.”

But when he begins to be haunted by memories of a family he never had, will they cause M.O.D.O.K. to lose his freakishly large mind for good? See what the masterminds behind the series had to say in this exclusive video interview, featuring never-before-seen interior pages from series artist Scott Hepburn!

“We were so excited to write the 616 Marvel version of the character,” Blum added. “We leapt at the chance to write the M.O.D.O.K. who had been there since Stan Lee and Jack Kirby… and put our spin on him and pull from a lot of the other versions of M.O.D.O.K. in the past. The character is very flexible and I think you can do a lot with him.”

Take a spin with the biggest head in the Marvel Universe when M.O.D.O.K. HEAD GAMES #1 arrives in comic shops on December 2nd!
