All Things All Elite: November 4th, 2020

Get caught up on AEW Dark, the new AEW Games trademark, Being the Elite and more before tonight’s Dynamite!

Good afternoon once again! We had a pretty relaxed week in the world of All Elite Wrestling, with no real big things going on. However, we might have some big news next week with AEW trademarking ‘AEW Games’. There was also a good six minute long back and forth between Trent and Miro that will add to the feud over Kip Sabian’s arcade machine. Feel free to peruse everything and enjoy tonight’s episode of Dynamite!

Listen to the latest episode of our weekly wrestling podcast, PTW!

Being The Elite

  • We open with Matt and Nick getting up and heading out to Brandon Cutler’s match. What follows is a montage of all of Brandon’s losses and his feud with Peter Avalon.
  • The Bucks and Cutler talk backstage after the Cutler/Avalon match. Cutler cuts a promo about how he never gave up, he lost again and again but pushed through it and finally got a win. Wins matter, but Cutler says so do losses. The Bucks apologize and Cutler assures them that it’s water under the bridge. The three walk away happy.
  • Sammy Guevara asks Feugo Del Sol why he’s still here after he blew the Gator Golf tournament. Sammy says he even threw the game for him and he still lost. Feugo says he flew here on his own dime and everything even though he’s not booked. Feugo says he’s making his own opportunity. Sammy throws a shoe at Matt Jackson to try to injure him to get Feugo back into the tournament. It accidentally hits Brian Cage. Things don’t go well for either — Feugo gets beaten up and Sammy runs away.
  • Silver and Reynolds approach Darby Allin and talk about how much they love Good Charlotte, skateboarding, and Hot Topic. They try to get him to join the Dark Order. Darby makes it clear he doesn’t want to join.
  • Super Panda helps Luchasaurus with “big guy wrestling” stuff that doesn’t involve kicks and flips.
  • Speaking Spanglish does a Family Feud type show. Dark Order vs. some of the Hispanic talent, whose team is called The Latinos. The question is “who does Dr. Evil fear?” Answers include Dr. Evil, Mr. Brodie Lee, Anna Jay, Evil Uno, and Stu Grayson. The Dark Order gets everything right.
  • Another question is “what is the best way to recruit cult members?” The Dark Order have to cheat by peeking at the answer card, but they get the answers right. Answers include “make them drink Kool-Aid,” “Invite them to a networking party,” “threaten to give Marko Stunt their number,” and “get them over on BTE.” The Dark Order everything right.
  • Last question is “what are some of Cody Rhodes’ favorite meals?” The Latinos defers to the fortune teller who gets every one right. They win the entire game.

AEW Dark

  • Darby Allin def. BSHP King
  • Brandi Rhodes and Red Velvet def. Leyla Hirsch and Elayna Black
  • Jurassic Express def. Danny Limelight/KC Navarro
  • Frankie Kazarian def. Ryzin
  • Ricky Starks def. Dave Dutra
  • Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman, Jr. def. Sean Maluta and Alex Chamberlain. After the match, Lance Archer came out and beat up everybody. He says he will destroy Eddie Kingston and his entire faction.
  • Max Caster and Anthony Bowens def. Aaron Solow and Angel Fashion
  • Five of the Dark Order def. VSK
  • Peter Avalon is wearing a bathrobe and welcomes the camera person. We get a slight porn star vibe from the whole thing. He says he is looking for a new manager. The camera person slaps him and Peter gets extremely mad, the tone and music change as Peter gets mad and shoos the camera person out of the room.
  • The Butcher and The Blade def. Jersey Muscle. The Nightmare Family runs into the ring after the match. Allie teases QT.
  • Will Hobbs def. D3
  • Evil Uno and Stu Grayson def. Nick Comoroto and Baron Black
  • John Silver, Colt Cabana and Ten def. Shawn Dean, Cezar Bononi and Fuego Del Sol. Minor point, but Colt seems more capable during the match as opposed to what we’ve seen from Colt recently.
  • Kilynn King def. Lei’D Tapa
  • Private Party (w) vs Chaos Project
  • Sammy Guevara def. Lee Johnson. Sammy wins with a Twist of Fate.
