Marvel commemorating 300th ‘Marvel Masterworks’ with variant covers

Check out Ema Lupacchino’s impressive Marvel Masterworks variant covers.

Marvel Masterworks have been printed since Marvel started publishing the collected edition series in 1987 and in spring 2021 the 300th edition will see print. To celebrate, Marvel Comics will honor the Marvel Masterworks series with variant covers on select issues of ongoing comics series. The 300th Marvel Masterworks will be devoted to Howard the Duck, if you are wondering!

Starting in February, fans can pick up the Marvel Mastwrorks variants which will appear on Amazing Spider-Man #59, Captain Marvel #26, Daredevil #27, Fantastic Four #29, and Iron Fist: Heart of the Dragon #2.

This February, you can find these outstanding comic book variant covers on titles like Amazing Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, Daredevil and more. Featuring gorgeous depictions of Marvel’s most beloved heroes by acclaimed artist Ema Lupacchino, these must-have comic covers will be adorned front and back, modeled to mirror the iconic design of the Marvel Masterworks hardcovers.

For over thirty years, the Marvels Masterworks line has collected the most seminal stories in Marvel history. Across 300 volumes, the iconic tales of Spider-Man, the Avengers, the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, and more have been presented in these stunning hardcover collections.
