Hi everyone! JJ Travers here, AIPT’s resident Star Wars superfan and one of the co-hosts of our Star Wars podcast, Talkin’ Tauntauns.
I’m extremely pleased to be able to share with you that AIPT is officially launching a Star Wars book club and we’ll be kicking things off with the first volume in the Star Wars: The High Republic publishing campaign, Star Wars: The High Republic: Light of the Jedi, which arrives on January 5, 2021.
The story told in Light of the Jedi and the other works being published under The High Republic umbrella will explore the Golden Age of The Republic, set two centuries before the events of the Skywalker Saga. This is a perfect jumping on point for new and old fans alike, as this marks the start of a new era for Star Wars; which means brand new characters, adventures, lightsabers, aliens, starships, and events that have never been seen before now.
The AIPT Star Wars book club is available to all members of our Patreon on the $2 tier and above. Our first meeting to discuss Light of the Jedi will be on Saturday, February 6, 2021. Members of the book club will meet digitally over Zoom and enjoy a fun in depth discussion about the book, as well as trivia and prizes, and we’ll also be providing recipes for Star Wars themed food and drinks.
