A quiet week in AEW, but there’s still plenty to chew on leading into Beach Break.

Happy Wednesday, All Elite Wrestling fans! We had a quiet week across the board in terms of AEW happenings, but there were a couple good tweets and Taz seems to have something fun planned for Dark. There was also a good interaction between Anna Jay and Hangman on Being The Elite that was interesting for the Dark Order’s relationship with Hangman going forward. Anyhoo, check out what happened and enjoy Dynamite tonight!

Being The Elite

The Good Brothers and Young Bucks hang out while in front of the green screen again. The Bucks say that they had to heavily edit the match last Wednesday as the Good Brothers were doing a lot of stuff you can’t show on TNT. Apparently pretending to masturbate and smoke weed is a no go on TNT.
Anna and Tay Conti are walking as Stu passes by. Anna throws him into the parking lot. Tay Conti asks if Anna has a crush on Stu. Anna blows the question off.

Luchasaurus is theorizing chess as Cutler comes up and apologizes to Luchasaurus. Luchasaurus and Cutler drive through what appears to be a setup of animatronics of dinosaurs set up in a parking lot.
The Dark Order have their PJs on and are ready for their sleep over. After kicking Five out, they tell scary stories. Anna decides to leave after Jon Silver yells at her to tell a scary story. The guys then talk about their crushes.
As Anna walks out of the blanket fort she sees Hangman grabbing whiskey. She tells Hangman that he needs to not come around here anymore and to just leave. Hangman starts to protest but Anna isn’t having any of it.

Private Party and Hardy are hanging out. Hardy says he was able to get that stupid Brandon Cutler to go against Luchasaurus and that he won a lot of money betting against Cutler. The three of them then go into their bar to screw with The Good Brothers. Gallows is asleep and they wake him up clanging a ring bell. Private Party runs out and Matt Hardy congratulates them on getting into their heads. Hardy says this will help them win the Impact tag titles.
Nyla Rose talks on the phone. She says that the donations she was raising (from a couple weeks ago) now means that she and Vickie have too much money, but she schedules a time to meet up.
Griff Garrison dances.

Sammy Guevara and Jon Silver compete for the BTE belt by doing field goals… and your new BTE champion is Sammy!

Tay Conti def. Tesha Price. Tay came out with Anna and the entire Dark Order. -1 led the two women to the ring and stayed ringside along with Anna. After the win Anna and -1 came out to raise Tay’s hand.
Britt Baker’s Waiting Room had Ricky Starks as a guest. Britt and Ricky flirted until Tony Schiavone came in to break up the flirting, claiming they were out of time.

On IMPACT, Matt Hardy tells Private Party that they will win the tag match tonight and become AEW tag champs as well as IMPACT tag champs.
Matt Hardy demands compensation from Sammy for his services.

Britt is upset she didn’t win any of the AEW awards.
Excalibur responds to Taz’s “friend” announcing he may come onto Dark soon.
Luchasaurus will not forget his horn being cut off.

Trent tweets about a memory he has of the Royal Rumble.
On Sammy’s vlog Sammy throws away MJF’s action figure, MJF tries once again to tell Sammy he did not tell Wardlow to get involved in the Inner Circle tag match, and Fuego Del Sol tries once again to get a match with QT.
Bit late on this, but here is a video of Miro discussing how he and Chuck Taylor are now best friends.
