Ahead of its March 3rd release, Image Comics has revealed a Greg Capullo variant cover for the upcoming series Nocterra. Created by Scott Snyder and Tony S. Daniel, the cover features the title character running right at us. Fans who like process covers should note there is a 1:150 black and white version of Capullo’s cover available too.
Announced in August, Nocterra began as a Kickstarter which was wildly successful. Don’t miss Daniel and Snyder discussing the Kickstarter and the series on the AIPT Comics podcast.

So what’s Nocterra about?
Ten years after the world is plunged into an everlasting night that turns all living creatures into monstrous shades, the only way to survive is to stay close to artificial light. Here Nocterra introduces Valentina “Val” Riggs, a skilled ferryman who transports people and goods along deadly unlit roads with her heavily illuminated eighteen wheeler.
Nocterra #1 will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, March 3 and will have 13 variant covers to go with it. Check out the codes below for those.
