Marvel teases Thor vs. Captain America in ‘Thor’ #15

It’s Captain America vs. Thor in ‘Thor’ #15, who ya got?!

Ahead of the Marvel Comics July solicitations, Marvel has revealed Thor and Captain America will be duking it out in July’s Thor #15. Set for release July 14th, it’s the ultimate battle between an immovable object (Cap’s shield) and an unstoppable force (Mjolnir).

So what’s it about?

Following the events of “Prey,” the wounds of Donald Blake have not yet healed, and new Hel is afoot! With all inhabitants back in Asgard, and Odin’s presence returned after being away so long, an air of tension now sits upon the throne! Father and son. All-Father and All-Father. Odin and Thor. Is this relationship forever doomed, and what does it mean for the Ten Realms? New York, NY— April 21, 2021 — July will see the beginning of a new arc in Donny Cates’ acclaimed run on THOR titled “Revelations.” Teaming up with Cates for this new storyline will be guest artist Michele Bandini (King in Black: Spider-Man), filling in for regular series artist Nic Klein who will return for the next arc. Seen on the jawdropping new cover by legendary Thor artist Olivier Coipel and colorist Matt Wilson, “Revelations” will pack plenty of surprises, including an explosive fight between Thor and Captain America.
