Before the interview, Nathan and Dave discuss the biggest news of the week. We start things off with new Marvel news and the July solicitations, like the announcement of Sinister War, Aliens: Aftermath, and the new Space Age event kicking off in “The Last Annihilation.” Marvel is also teaming up with Viz Media and a new venture with ESPN. We also dig into why Marvel’s Predator comics have been delayed.
In other news, Rob Liefeld changes his mind about NFTs and Alex Ross does not. The Image Comics solicitations for July also reveal a few new series and Dark Horse and Mattel announced Masters of the Universe: Revelation #1.
DC Comics made waves this week with the unveiling of a new Superman series and lineup details for the line in July, the news they are launching a horror imprint with The Conjuring: The Lover, and new series like Blue & Gold #1, Justice League Infinity #1, and a new Shazam series too.
