Every NXT title is on the line at In Your House, including an infamous relic from the ’90s, the Million Dollar Championship.

Karrion Kross (c) (with Scarlett) vs. Kyle O’Reilly vs. Adam Cole vs. Johnny Gargano (with Austin Theory) vs. Pete Dunne (with Oney Lorcan) – Fatal 5-Way NXT Championship

Jason: Real talk, do champs ever lose multi-man matches anymore? I like everyone involved here, but if they were going to put the belt on any of these challengers anytime soon, they would have put them against Kross alone. Instead, I think the big man fends off these guys with a dominant pin of…probably Kyle O’Reilly. The Cole feud keeps running for a while before some plucky babyface emerges as a worthwhile challenger.
Winner: Karrion Kross
Shane: Karrion Kross just seems like the guy in NXT right now. He’s coming off a dominant title victory and rematch against Finn Balor and honestly, it just doesn’t feel like any of the other challengers have been built up enough to take the title off of Kross just yet. I expect another dominant performance here from the champ.
Winner: (and STILL NXT Champion) Karrion Kross
Jay: Kross gonna stomp. Kross is the guy in NXT right now and every segment he has been involved in since winning the title has been punctuated by him suplexing everything with a pulse with Scarlett prancing in the background. Hitherto, I fully expect this mulit-man match to be a showcase for further suplexing by Kross. It should be great fun!

Cameron Grimes vs. LA Knight – Ladder match for Million Dollar Championship

Jason: I’m loving Grimes’ new gimmick of rich hillbilly, and the match with Knight should be a good one. While Grimes really seems like the kind of guy who could use the blinged out cumberbund, I think this Ted Dibiase shtick is slowly turning him face – and faces are never the inaugural champs. Knight is a scumbag heel so it should work out pretty well for him all the same. It’s only a matter of time before Grimes wearing it though. That guys going to the…top.
Winner: L.A. Knight
Shane: Is anyone else kinda surprised how much LA Knight is being featured on NXT? I wasn’t expecting him to be such a big name player in this short amount of time and it just feels weird. And while I like his character, I don’t know if I see LA Knight winning this match. Cameron Grimes on the other hand is somebody who has been around NXT for a while and it is about time that he gets pushed… to the moon! Grimes hasn’t had a major victory on an NXT Takeover and I predict this changes Sunday night.

Jay: Grimes. Grimes has slowly but surely been built as a fixture for NXT and they clearly have a lot of faith in him. He’s gone from perennial undercard performer to a solid, can’t miss, mid-card act, and now having an angle with a certifiable legend giving him the rub. Grimes has been riding momentum since becoming legitimately rich off the back of the whole Game Stonks situation and DiBiase and the Million Dollar Championship is the next step in his journey.

Mercedes Martinez vs. Xia Li (with Boa and Mei Ying)

Jason: Its weird that they keep getting these passing interests in pushing Mercedes Martinez but it never actually manifests in any meaningful way. I think Xia’s semi-supernatural gimmick has more legs – and those legs get broken if she loses here, so I expect Tian Sha to stand tall in the end – cleanly or otherwise.
Winner: Xia Li
Shane: Xia Li has to win this match. There has been so much put behind her and this new gimmick that a loss in her first major feud would cause too much damage. And if the rumors are true about Mercedes Martinez being called up to the main roster, this would be a decent enough swan song for an underwhelming NXT run.
Winner: Xia Li
Jay: Xia Li’s new gimmick has been an interesting but slow burn. I have no idea where its going but allegedly the dark, ominous, leader person behind her is an evil lady. Or maybe a evil dragon lady. Or maybe just a dragon but we still have Xia Li v. Martinez who will be playing the legendary veteran that’s going to take the loss.

Bronson Reed (North American) and MSK (Nash Carter and Wes Lee) (Tag Team) vs. Legado del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, and Raúl Mendoza) – Winner Takes All six-man tag team match for NXT North American Championship and NXT Tag Team Championship

Jason: I don’t think this will happen, but I hope by putting this energy out in the world maybe my boys in Legado del Fantasma will be leaving with all the gold. I like Bronson Reed, and I probably should have some kind of affection for MSK, but I want all the best for Santos Escobar, and I don’t care who gets in the way. I’m actually a big Raul Mendoza fan too, so him getting a title run would be pretty sweet as well. Like I’m sure Reed is going to win the match by hitting the colossal slam on Joaquin Wild or something, but I’m putting my goodwill behind the well dressed luchadors.
Winners: Legado Del Fantasma
Shane: If there is going to be a title change at In Your House it will happen in this match. And I kinda hope it does. I love Legado Del Fantasma. I’ve been a huge fan of theirs since they started appearing on NXT and I would love for them to have a big win here. Bronson Reed can always win the NXT North American Championship back later and MSK can win their NXT Tag Team Championships back too. But for now, let’s have a huge win for Legado Del Fantasma.

Jay: NXT is clearly high on Bronson and MSK for obvious and baffling reasons for the former and latter respectively and Legado can take the L without being hurt in any way. I fully expect this feud to branch off in the obvious directions after this but I fully expect this to be a great match.
Winners: Bronson and MSK
Raquel Gonzalez (c) w/Dakota Kai vs. Ember Moon w/Shotzi Blackheart – singles match for NXT Women’s Championship

Jason: I really hate to say it, because I was a big Ember Moon fan in her initial NXT run, but her return to the yellow brand has been way too underwhelming for my tastes. The matches are fine, but lack some of the flair of her first run – and the fact that they never really let her win anything is a large part of that. Sadly, I just don’t see that changing any time soon. Raquel is gonna roll on this one, as she probably should. Like Kross, her defeat should be at the hands of an up-and-comer who needs the rub – or a Dakota Kai turn.
Winner: Raquel Gonzalez
Shane: I think the theme of most of the title matches on this card is “too soon”. It feels too soon to take really any titles off of any of the champions heading into this card and this match might just be the one to fully embrace that theme. In fact, I think this is the easiest match of the night to call. There is no way that Raquel Gonzales loses here tonight. None. And a win over a former NXT Women’s Champion like Ember Moon won’t hurt either. I see a long title reign in Raquel Gonzales’ future and Ember Moon is just the first stop.

Jay: Raquel Gonzalez has been a great champion thus far and Ember Moon is going to make her look like a million bucks. The big X-Factors in this match are Dakota Kai and Shotzi and what role they will play as we continue to build to the eventual implosion between Kai and Gonzalez.
