Star Wars Black Series and Vintage Collection: 10/27 Hasbro livestream exclusive reveals

Star Wars Black Series reveals some long awaited characters during Hasbro’s recent exclusive livestream event.

On Wednesday, Hasbro Pulse held a livestream event exclusively for its premium members. Thankfully, a few toy reviewers and websites were kind enough to share images and info from the event.

Credit for the images and info goes to Toyark, KyloCollector, and Yakface.

Any serious toy collector already has Toyark bookmarked. Not only are they great about getting out news/images, but the site provides plenty of links where you can purchase figures once they’re available. They are also phenomenal toy photographers. Even if they didn’t provide a well organized stream of toy news, Toyark would be worth visiting just for their photoshoots.

If you’ve been collecting Star Wars figures for a while, then it’s likely KyloCollector is already on your follow list. In addition to giving great scoops/information, he does a great job helping collectors stay up to date with when/where products are available.

As many of you likely know, Yakface is the best site for well-sourced rumors and verified scoops about Star Wars toys. The site is so good, in fact, that they’ve been blackballed by Disney/Hasbro for it. Thankfully, this hasn’t stopped from continuing their excellent track record of finding out about new releases before they’re officially revealed.

Speaking of reveals, let’s start with what was shown for the Black Series yesterday.

Black Series Echo

FINALLY.

It may have taken us longer than expected to get this Bad Batch team member, but his long awaited release looks fantastic. Hasbro also decided to include a grappling arm accessory, which is both very cool and much appreciated.

The figure will retail for $22.99 and is expected to be available next summer.

Black Series Omega

Okay, I’ll fully admit that I wasn’t excited at all when this figure was announced. After becoming a huge fan of the character, however, I cautiously added it to my buy list. Now that I’ve seen how great the figure looks — and that she comes with Ruby as an accessory — you better believe I’ll be snagging this one as soon as possible.

The figure will retail for $22.99 and is expected to be available next summer.

Black Series Bib Fortuna

I’m still more excited about the Vintage Collection version of this character, but my Black Series Jabba won’t mind having a consigliere on the shelf with him — especially one that looks this good.

The figure will retail for $22.99 and is expected to be available next summer.

Black Series Stormtrooper (Jedha Patrol)

This reveal was pretty “meh” for me, but still looks good. It’s also the Rogue One version of this particular trooper if you’re a completist.

The figure will retail for $22.99 and is expected to be available next summer.

Vintage Collection Pipeline Reveals

Look, I’m as excited about Figren D’an as anyone, but this is the third time it’s been “revealed” that his figure is in development.

As for Yoda and the 501st Trooper, that news will be a lot more exciting once it’s confirmed we’re getting new/updated sculpts.

The Death Watch Airborne Trooper is going to be an obvious army builder and a must buy.
