Hinted at in September, Jeff Lemire has officially announced a new horror series called The Bone Orchard. The series will be drawn by Andrea Sorrentino and will follow their current series Primordial.
Lemire spoke briefly about the series in his September newsletter saying it’s already scripted adding it, “will be the most ambitious thing he and I have done together.” Considering their work on Gideon Falls and how ambitious that was this is further proof these creators are always pushing the limit with their comics work.
Check out the teaser Lemire shared on Twitter below.

The teaser not only marks Lemire and Sorrentino’s return to horror but also teases that this new series will be part of a shared mythology. Whether that means other series will tie into it, or series like Gideon Falls ties into it remains to be seen. Heck, it could even mean Lemire’s Substack will feature stories that add to the mythology.
Sorrentino has been teasing the series for a few weeks with the only info being the news dropping on Halloween. Given it’s the spookiest day of the year, and how flipping spooky the clip Lemire shared, it’s the perfect time to start imagining what horrors Lemire and Sorrentino have planned for us.
