Over the last couple weeks, Hasbro has revealed a ton of new products via Pulse Con 2021 and and an exclusive live stream. On Sunday, however, yet another highly anticipated figure was revealed for the Star Wars: Black Series toyline, this time via a leak. As usual, it was Yakface that had the scoop.
The info comes courtesy of an Instagram post from Hobbybase, an online toy retailer who’s probably going to get a very stern talking to from Hasbro’s PR department soon.
At first glance, this upcoming Black Series wave appears to consist of figures that were recently announced along with single/regular releases of exclusive items. As you can see in the picture above, Ponda Baba and Doctor Evazan are now chilling in their own separate boxes instead of the Cantina Showdown set. Princess Leia also gets a normal box for those who don’t want to pay extra for the Power of the Force retro packaging.
The most exciting reveal, however, is that Fennec Shand is finally getting her own action figure. She’s also listed under the Book of Boba Fett, one of three Star Wars series that the deadly assassin will have graced with her awesomeness.
Shand was shown to be in development back in June, so this isn’t a total a surprise. Still, it’s very exciting to have confirmation that she’ll be on shelves soon.
The figure’s reveal was likely being saved for a Bring Home the Bounty feature on StarWars.com this week, which means we should be getting official preorder info/links soon!
