Dark Horse and Steve Niles team up for ‘Criminal Macabre: Spirit of the Demon’ OGN

Intrepid hero Cal McDonald returns in a new Dark Horse original graphic novel.

Press Release

Dark Horse Comics has revealed Steve Niles is bringing back Criminal Macabre with a new OGN called Criminal Macabre: Spirit of the Demon. The all-new original story will feature art by Szymon Kudranski (Spawn, The Punisher).  It’ll be available in bookstores on July 6th.

“For this graphic novel I’ve taken a slightly, more serious approach to Cal McDonald,” Steve Niles says about Spirit of the Demon in a statement sent to AIPT. “It’s a much moodier piece and the art by Szymon is dark. It’s about falling into Hell so it fits well.”
