Disney+ releases ‘Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi’ first look

‘Have another swing at each other, it might be quite satisfying for everybody.’ – Ewan McGregor

It’s Disney+ Day which means we’re getting tons of new details on Lucasfilm, Marvel Studios, and Pixar projects in the world, but the biggest might be a first-look at the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi television show. You can view it right now on Disney+ by searching Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The one-minute-long first look featurette features concept art and some words from Ob-Wan star Ewan McGregor and director Deborah Chow. Story details are a bit scarce, but Chow reveals the story picks up where Obi-Wan left off by delivering Luke to his uncle Owen and Aunt Beru Lars.

“The most beautiful thing of all is it has brought me back together with Hayden,” McGregor said. If you didn’t know, Darth Vader will appear in the show and Hayden Christensen will be reprising the role. McGregor added, “Have another swing at each other, it might be quite satisfying for everybody.”

Check out some of the concept art below.
