It’s a common comic problem: you find yourself in a comic shop and, for whatever reason, have no recollection of what it is you are drawn to in graphic literature. Everything you had on your mind to check out simply evaporates from your memory. Worse still, you’ve somehow lost the ability to read or think for yourself.
Luckily, staff writer Colin Moon has created the YouTube channel Colin Has Issues, in which he goes ahead and suggests a small sampling of interesting books coming out this week. Indeed, this handful of comics might very well be the comics of the week. Of course, they might not be, at which point it would be completely reasonable to ridicule him mercilessly.
Why? Why does Colin do this? No one knows for sure. It remains a mystery.
This week, Colin discusses books from Marvel, Aftershock, Image, and BOOM! Studios, some of which are early in their runs, and one of which ends this week. If the books mentioned are reviewed this week, those reviews will be collated beneath the video for your convenience.
Enjoy!
