House of the Dragon is really heating up and with only four episodes to go, some of your favorite characters will likely die or meet an end far worse. In episode six–read our review for more on that–we saw a hugely risky move by the showrunners to jump forward in time. That not only meant seeing where characters were at after a decade or so of time but also getting used to Emma D’Arcy playing Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen.
Out this Sunday, October 2nd, airing at 9 p.m. EST is episode seven, titled Driftmark. Written by co-showrunner Miguel Sapochnik, we’re in for a lot of drama on a small island. As the trailer shows, there’s a funeral taking place, plenty of shots of dragons, and some heavy language around the “game” these characters are playing.
