The Road to WrestleMania rolls on as WWE SmackDown is live tonight from the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC. Tonight’s show should be a big one, as the 2023 Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes will go face to face with the Tribal Chief, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns for the first time. Let’s take a look at everything announced for tonight’s show:
Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley

WWE’s official preview:
Although Liv Morgan acknowledges Rhea Ripley’s greatness, she is out to prove that the 2023 Royal Rumble winner is not unstoppable. The two Superstars entered in the first two spots in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match, but it was The Nightmare who went the distance to earn her WrestleMania spot.
Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes go face to face

WWE’s official preview:
In a message delivered by Special Council Paul Heyman, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Returns made it clear to Jimmy Uso that either he handle the Jey Uso situation or Reigns will personally take care of it when he returns to SmackDown. After Jey failed to help his brother during Jimmy’s altercation with Sami Zayn, however, The Bloodline seems more disjointed than ever.
Following his victory on Raw, Cody Rhodes made it clear that he was happy Reigns will be returning to SmackDown on Friday because he was going be there too.
How will The Head of the Table react to the unprecedented turmoil that has rocked The Bloodline? What will happen when Reigns and Rhodes step onto the blue brand at the same time en route to their WrestleMania title showdown? Will The Island of Relevancy ever be the same?
