A Cure at What Cost

Sweet Tooth is a fantasy drama based on the comic book of the same name written and illustrated by Jeff Lemire. It takes place in a world where a viral pandemic wipes out most of the human race, and leads to the strange appearance of human/animal hybrid babies.

The new season finds the main character, a dear hybrid named Gus, and other hybrids imprisoned by General Abbot and the Last Men. The twisted villain allows Dr. Aditya Singh to experiment on the children to find a cure. Gus agrees to help the doctor, and in the process, learns his true origins and the role his mother played in “The Great Crumble.”

Stream the entire second season of Sweet Tooth beginning Thursday, April 27, on Netflix.

Called Back into Action

An independent spy organization known as Citadel, which was tasked with protecting the world, was destroyed by a powerful syndicate that manipulates events from the shadows. After Citadel’s fall, its top agents had their memories wiped in order to survive. Years later, some these sleeper agents are approached for another shot at saving the globe.

Citadel is created by David Weil, the mind behind such shows as Hunters, Solo, and Invasion. The Russo brothers serve as executive producers with Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas as the stars. The series is the flagship with multiple local language satellite spinoffs planned in different countries like Italy and India.

The two-episode series premiere of Citadel begins airing Friday, April 28, on Prime Video.
