The Uncanny Experience reveals ‘Uncanny X-Men’ #101 Facsimile cover

The ‘Uncanny X-Men’ #101 Facsimile cover is by art by Nathan Szerdy.

The Uncanny Experience fan convention has added an exclusive variant cover to its offerings, featuring art by Nathan Szerdy. The cover will grace Uncanny X-Men #101 Facsimile Edition and will be sold to attendees for the event on September 16th & 17th in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

If you’re going, you can preorder the cover right now via The Uncanny Experience storefront. Fans have options with the cover to either have it signed by Chris Claremont and/or Nathan Szerdy, a CGC Graded Signature Series Yellow Label offered of 9.6 or higher for $150.00, facilitated through Unknown Comics.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – MAY 31, 2023:  Unknown Comics and The Uncanny Experience are excited to announce the event exclusive comic book variant of Uncanny X-Men #101 Facsimile Edition featuring cover art by Nathan Szerdy.  This variant will be sold to attendees of The Uncanny Experience, which takes place September 16th & 17th in Minneapolis, Minnesota later this year. Tickets are available on their official website: www.theuncannyexperience.com

The comic book is available for pre-order via The Uncanny Experience’s Storefront.   The options for pre-order are for signed copies by Chris Claremont and/or Nathan Szerdy.  A signed copy with certified signatures of Claremont and Szerdy will cost $50.00, with options of just Claremont or just Szerdy if you wish.  There is also a CGC Graded Signature Series Yellow Label offered of 9.6 or higher for $150.00, facilitated through Unknown Comics.  Pre-orders will be available for shipping starting the week of September 18th.

Copies will be available for purchase at the event through the Unknown Comics booth and cover artist Nathan Szerdy and writer Chris Claremont will be present for autographs as special guests of the convention.  Unknown Comics will offer CGC Signature Series verification and grading to all attendees.  CGC Services will be available the entire event weekend for authorization on autographs from the convention’s other guests such as Lenore Zann, Cal Dodd, Larry Houston, Chris Sims, and more.

The convention will cater to fans of the X-Men with a historic X-Mansion-like environment, immersive entertainment, celebrity appearances, cosplay, vendor booths, panel programming, and so much more.
