This week at San Diego Comic-Con, Hasbro finally revealed the Pre Vizsla figure for its 6″ scale Star Wars Black Series toyline. It will be available for preorder from most major retailers beginning Saturday, July 22 at 5:00 PM ET. The figure will carry a $24.99 price tag and is expected to arrive on store shelves this fall.

STAR WARS fans and collectors can imagine scenes from the STAR WARS galaxy with this premium 6-inchSTAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES PRE VIZSLA figure, inspired by the character’s appearance in STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS. Pre Vizsla was governor of Concordia, a moon of Mandalore, during the Clone Wars. Behind closed doors, he led Death Watch, a secret group of commandos seeking control of Mandalore. Fans and collectors can display this fully articulated figure featuring premium detail and multiple points of articulation in their collection. Includes figure and 5 entertainment- inspired accessories.
If you don’t know who Pre Vizsla is, then you’ve got some Clone Wars to catch up. In addition to being a fantastic villain, he also played a huge role in Mandalore‘s upheaval before the rise of the Empire.
At first glance, there’s a whole lot to love about this figure. In addition to the fantastic accessories, Pre-Vizsla’s facial portrait is superb. Unfortunately, Hasbro also used the old Jango Fett body, which looks way too bulky for the character and has absurdly tiny feet. That won’t be enough to keep this from being one of my few Black Series preorders this year, but it’s still disappointing.
