EXCLUSIVE ‘Ultimate Spider-Man’ #3 preview reveals new Spidey suits

The ‘Ultimate Spider-Man’ #3 preview reveals a few costume changes.

Courtesy of Marvel Comics, AIPT can share an exclusive preview of Ultimate Spider-Man #3, out next week! Written by Jonathan Hickman with art by Marco Checchetto, fans don’t want to miss this.

The preview reveals the next issue is set in March, further cementing the fact that a month passes between each issue. It also reveals the events of the last issue, which continues as Spider-Man attempts to lock down a new costume design. As you can see below, there are a few iterations he tries out before clearly landing on the classic red and blue. You’ll note each suit looks a touch familiar, and gets some fun commentary from Peter’s daughter. There’s a Ben Reilly style sweater version, which May dislikes, a Venom version that’s “Too scary”, and what might be a riff on Spider-Man 2099.

Check out the preview below.

PETER PARKER’S NEW LIFE GETS EVEN MORE COMPLICATED…

Marvel Comics has got a hit on its hands with its Ultimate Universe line, with Ultimate Black Panther and Ultimate Spider-Man selling out, so one might assume Ultimate Spider-Man #3 will sell out, too. Given the fact that it’s introducing new mainline villains so early–we’ve already seen Shocker and we know Bullseye is around the corner–it’s safe to say each issue will have new looks for classic villains.
