Marvel reveals Rachel Summers and Betsy Braddock to get X-Men series

Girlfriends Rachel Summers and Betsy Braddock will be getting their own X-Men series!

Marvel Comics has let slip on an as-yet announced X-Men title that Rachel Summers and Betsy Braddock are teaming up. The news was revealed via their Pride Month announcement earlier today.

The solicit info reads for the variant cover:

Rachel Summers, AKA Askani, currently playing a pivotal role in Krakoa’s final battle in Rise of the Powers of X. She will star alongside her girlfriend, Betsy Braddock, in a yet-to-be announced X-Men title in the upcoming From the Ashes era.

This news comes hot on the heels of the entire new era X-Men lineup getting announced last week. All told there are nine X-Men titles coming when the line relaunches in July. Those titles include Uncanny X-Men, X-Men, Exceptional X-Men, Wolverine, NYX, Phoenix, Storm, X-Factor, and X-Force.

If I were to guess I’d assume the Phoenix book would be where Rachel and Betsy show up, but given Marvel says it has yet to be announced, the skies the limit on what the title could be called.
