Following a massively successful WrestleMania weekend, WWE has announced that the WWE Draft will be returning later this month. The Draft is a (mostly) annual event where the Raw and SmackDown rosters are shifted around to create opportunities for new potential matches, new rivalries, and new dynamics.

On last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Michael Cole announced that the WWE Draft will return starting on the April 26 edition of SmackDown, and will continue on April 29th’s Raw. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, and NXT General Manager Ava were all on hand last night, suggesting NXT may be involved in the Draft this year in some capacity.
