C&C Con is an independent convention held at a giant brewery with a fleet of A-list, Eisner-winning guests like the Terry Dodson, Maria Wolf, Alexis Ziritt, Julia Wertz, and Thien Pham. Cape & Cowl Comics was founded in 2023 by Eitan Manhoff.

MISSOULA, MT & OAKLAND, CA (August 2, 2024) – Vault is thrilled to announce they are the presenting sponsor for Cape & Cowl Con 2024, one of the premiere independent west coast comic book conventions. Founded in 2023 by Eitan Manhoff, owner & proprietor of Oakland’s legendary Cape and Cowl Comics retail store, Cape and Cowl Con has already cemented itself as one of the can’t-miss shows of the season. As presenting sponsor, Vault will be exhibiting at the show with a full suite of offerings.
Cape and Cowl Con was created by Cape and Cowl Comics in 2023 as a celebration of the very best comics, artists, and makers the store’s community has to offer. The first iteration of the event, held at Gilman Brewing Company in Berkeley, California, was a smashing success. An extremely diverse collection of artists and vendors shared everything from published original art to vintage comic books to erotic candles with the Con’s attendees. 2024’s Cape and Cowl Con will feature over 30 professional comic creator guests and nearly 50 vendors with thousands of attendees.
