WEBTOON’s Line Manga app tops 50 million downloads

LINE MANGA originally launched with just licensed manga titles in 2013 but soon expanded to include original webtoons.

WEBTOON revealed today their Line Manga, the company’s Japanese platform, has exceeded 50 million downloads. This achievement comes after the LINE MANGA app topped the overall app market in Japan – including games – across iOS and Google play in May and June according to SensorTower.

LINE MANGA originally launched with just licensed manga titles in 2013 but soon expanded to include original webtoons.

LINE MANGA consistently ranks amongst the top downloaded manga apps in the region thanks to its engaged user base, talented Creators, and incredible content.
