It’s Witching Season
Agatha Harkness was first introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in WandaVision. By the end of the show, she loses her magical powers and is left stuck in her nosy neighbor persona of Agnes.
In her new miniseries, Agatha breaks free from Wanda’s spell and is looking to restore her powers. Her best bet is to walk the infamous Witches’ Road. If she can make it to the very end, she will receive what she wants most. It’s a perilous path she wants to undertake so Agatha assembles a new coven to help her on the quest.
The first two episodes of Agatha All Along launch Wednesday, September 18, on Disney+.
Controlling the Streets of Gotham
In Matt Reeves’ The Batman, the power structure of the Gotham underworld is left in disarray when crime boss Carmine Falcone is killed. Now there is a void of leadership with one man, Oswald Cobblepot, looking to fill the spot.
The Penguin follows Cobblepot’s rise from chief lieutenant to a major criminal power player. It will be no easy task taking over from the Falcone Family as Carmine’s daughter, Sofia Falcone, arrives on the scene. She is a cold blooded killer and believes she should be next in line.
The series premiere of The Penguin airs Thursday, September 19, on HBO.
