Marvel Comics is going all-in with Disney What If? variant covers by way of the Fantastic Four series. Throughout 2025, every issue will feature a Disney What If? homage variant cover. This is due to the big year for FF, which includes the release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps movie and their big role in the “One World Under Doom” story arc.
The theme features Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, and more as they take over as Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and the Thing to recreate the team’s most memorable adventures. Today, fans can check out the first two covers, on sale January and February, that pay homage to foundational Silver Age issues: Stan Lee and Jack Kirby’s Fantastic Four #3 and #51.
